I wanted to send you a quick note after reading LIBBY.
What really caught me off guard was how the story blends the idea of time travel with something much more personal. It is easy for stories like this to focus on the mechanics, but what stayed with me was Libby herself and the emotional weight behind her situation.
The moment where her past and present begin to collide, especially around her father, added a layer of urgency that made everything feel more than just a what if scenario. It felt like a question about choice, loss, and whether changing something comes at a cost you cannot fully see.
I also liked the contrast between her origins and the modern world. It created a quiet tension that made her feel slightly out of place in a way that added to the story rather than distracting from it.
Out of curiosity, did the idea start with the time travel concept, or with Libby as a character first?
I write as well, so I always notice when a story uses a big concept to explore something more intimate. This one definitely did that for me.
